pink room
For this room I was looking for a lovely deep-pigmented dusky pink that I had been seen used as a lime render in a medieval renovation project. With 'First Date' by Fired Earth I came pretty close to acheiving it.
The ‘Pink Room’ is a very pleasant dual purpose dayroom with an armchair, 2 identical day-beds and French doors which open out to the surrounding border garden. This room can be used as a lovely cool retreat in the high summer, but becomes a very cosy place to relax mid-winter due to it’s large glass fronted wood burner. There is also a small wall heater that warms up the room if you don't want to light the main fire.
In the evening this room can double up as a downstairs 'fourth' bedroom as the identical day-beds can each be converted into a double bed thereby accommodating between 1 and 4 people.
