*All dogs must go to VET for worming 24-120hrs before crossing from France into the UK
You can expect the Veterinaire to charge @ 30 - 35 euros for this service per pet dog, but check beforehand.
In January 2012 the rules changed making it easier for some small pets (dogs, cats, ferrets) to travel from the UK to France.
Generally they must:
-
be at least 12 weeks old
-
have been microchipped, before
-
been given a rabies vacination, administered at least 21 days full days before travelling
-
have a pet passport
Contact your vet in the UK to arrange this well in advance of your travel dates.
* If traveling with your pets, please always check for updates before you travel, to be 100% sure the rules haven't changed.

If you are travelling back by Eurostar, you first must check into the Pet Area in Calais before booking in.
Once you have checked in, if you have time on your hands there is a pet exercise area. The crossing is just 35 minutes and your pets stay with you in the vehicle during this time.
